Privacy Policy

When you request a quote through our form, we collect what you enter: your first and last name and email address; your phone number and street address if you choose to give them; the services you are interested in, your message and up to twenty photos of your property.

If you start typing an address, the text you type is sent through our server to Google Maps Platform so it can suggest matching addresses; if you pick one, Google returns the complete address and its map coordinates, which we keep with your request together with a note of whether it falls inside our service area. Google receives only the text in the address box, never your name or contact details, and nothing is sent until you type there.

We also record the page you submitted the form from, the site that referred you to us (if any) and the time of submission, so we know which requests came through the website.

Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address and browser type. These logs are used only for security and troubleshooting and are kept briefly.

We use the information you give us to respond to your request, look at or visit your property, prepare an estimate and contact you by phone, text message or email about your project. We also keep normal business records of the work we quote and perform.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not send marketing text messages or newsletters. If you ask us not to contact you a certain way, we will stop.

We share information only with the service providers that run this website and our business, and only for the purposes above:

• LandscapingOperations, the customer-management system where we manage and answer quote requests.
• Resend, which delivers the email that tells us a new request has arrived.
• Google Maps Platform, which suggests addresses as you type in the quote form and draws the “Where we work” map. Our server makes those requests, so Google sees the text you type in the address box but not who you are, and the map is a picture generated once on our server, not a Google map loaded in your browser. • Replit, which hosts this website, and Google Cloud, where the database and uploaded photos are stored. Photos sit behind unlisted links that are not published or searchable.
• Clerk, which handles sign-in for our team. As part of how it works it sets a session cookie in every visitor’s browser; that cookie is essential to the site and is not used to track you.
• Replit-hosted analytics, which counts page views and clicks in aggregate, without cookies or personal identifiers.
• YouTube or Vimeo, only when you play the featured video on our site. Nothing is loaded from them until you press play.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram), for the advertising described below, unless you opt out.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

When we run ads on Facebook and Instagram, this site uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., so we can measure those ads and show them to people who have visited our site.

The pixel sets cookies in your browser and sends Meta information about your visit: the pages you view, whether you submitted a quote request (but not what you wrote in it) and details about your device and browser. Meta may combine this with your Meta account and use it under its own data policy.

You can opt out at any time: choose “Opt out” in the cookie notice, use the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of any page, adjust your ad preferences inside Facebook or Instagram, or block cookies in your browser settings. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser sends it, the pixel is never loaded.

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site uses:

• Strictly necessary cookies, which are always on: the sign-in session cookie set by Clerk and the cookie that remembers your choice in our cookie notice. These do not track you across other sites.
• Advertising cookies from the Meta Pixel, described above, unless you opt out.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, although team members may need to sign in again.

We keep quote requests for as long as we need them to service your inquiry and for our normal business records. You can ask us to delete your request, or to send you a copy of the information we hold about you, at any time using the contact details below. We will honor the request unless we need to keep a record for legal or accounting reasons.

Photos are used only to understand and evaluate your project. Please do not upload photos of people without their permission, and leave out anything you would not want us to see. Photos are removed when your request is deleted.

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Customer testimonials and project photos shown on this site are used with the permission of the customers involved. If you are a customer and would like a testimonial or photo removed, let us know.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
